After teaching for 18 years in two different states, I decided to take a sabbatical.  I have a thirst for adventure, so I took off across the country.  Also, I decided to write a book to you – My Fellow Teachers.  There are some big hairy issues in our profession right now.  My goal is to spend time researching them and sharing the results with you. My hope is to create better schools for the students I love and hold close to my heart.
